Biography

Clotilde Djuikem  is a Cameroonian researcher who loves to spread her knowledge in mathematics and encourage people to see the beauty of mathematics and its application to our day to day lives. This strong desire led to the creation of her YouTube channel MathPourTous.

Clotilde  holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree  in Applied Mathematics from the University of Douala, Cameroon. Her master’s degree specialization was in mathematics applied to life sciences with her thesis topic entitled “Study and simulation of the propagation of fungus Hemileia vastarix, coffee pest”. She successfully defended her masters thesis as a valedictorian.

She is currently pursuing a PhD in Applied Mathematics working on the Modeling and control of perennial plant phytopathogens. Her main research interest spans around mathematical epidemiology and ecology, dynamical systems, mathematical modeling, numerical analysis. On her free time, she loves reading, traveling, dancing, and plays handball and volleybal.

ConferencesWorkshops

Analysis and Design of Hybrid Systems, IFAC, Jul 2021, Brussels, Belgium.
This Conference brings together researchers and practitioners in the area of hybrid systems, with backgrounds in control, computer science, and operations research, to provide a forum for discussing and presenting recent results in the fields of hybrid and cyber-physical systems.
Mathematical Population Dynamics, Ecology and Evolution”, April 2021, Marseille, France
This conference aims to bring mathematicians interested in applications in ecology and evolution together.
Le Monde des mathématiques Industrielles, 09-10 March 2020, Nice, France.
A two-day workshop on Applied and Industrial Mathematics. The goal of MOMI2020 is to allow young researchers to discover the link between the industrial world and applied mathematics and familiarize themselves with such approaches and related companies.
